What Your Saturn Wants To Say To You.
What Your Saturn Wants To Say To You: I'm the one you're mad at. Before you got here, you sat down with me, and you agreed to something. You don't remember any of it, and I've been holding you to it every day since. You wanted something out of this lifetime that you couldn't have as the person you were when you showed up, so I've been building that person the whole time, slow, mostly without your help.
I'm in Aries right now, and I'm in my fall here, which means I'm working with a lot less than I usually have, and everybody's feeling that. It runs until April 2028. Everybody born within about two and a half years of you has me in the same sign, and your grandmother might have it too, since I come back around every thirty years or so. What makes it yours is where I'm sitting in your chart, and that's part two. If your Saturn had anything to say to you, this is what it would say. And I'm going to tell you how to use me, because nobody ever does.
SATURN IN ARIES
You think I'm what's slowing you down. I'm just the pause. That's not the same thing. Without me, you'd spend your whole life chasing whatever got you hot on a Tuesday and then call it your purpose. When something comes over you, don't move. Give it a week or two. Whatever's still there after is actually yours, and you can go all the way in and not look up. You've never done this before. That's why you've got nine unfinished things and a story about how you're bad at follow-through.
SATURN IN TAURUS
You think I'm why money's been hard. I am the floor. I kept it thin on you because you were never going to find out what you're worth while it was easy, and you would've spent your whole life letting the number tell you. I need you to pick one thing and get so good at it that you can name your price without your voice shaking. Then put money away on the same day every month, boring amounts, and don't touch it for twenty years. You keep buying your way to calm, and it lasts for like four days. And what you're not seeing.
SATURN IN GEMINI
You think I made you slow. I made you accurate. There’s a difference, and you’ve been sitting on the wrong side of it since you were about nine, when you had the answer, and somebody else said it wrong, and people listened to them. You must say things half-ready. You will be wrong in public a few times, and you will not die from it. You’re not researching shit. You’re just hiding, and you think you’re being responsible.
SATURN IN CANCER
You think I'm why you had to raise yourself. I'm a bit weak here; Cancer is one of my two worst signs, and I had nothing soft to give you. What I gave you instead was the ability to end something that's been running in your family before anybody could remember. You have to figure out what's actually yours to carry and put the rest of it down, and understand that you'll be disappointing people who taught you that love means sacrificing yourself. You'd rather give than take. Because giving keeps you in charge of how it goes. Please ask anyway.
SATURN IN LEO
You think I turned off your light. Bloop, I did. This is my other so-so sign: I don’t do well around a person’s shine, and somebody let you know a long time ago that you were too much. What that gave you is the chance to build something that doesn’t need other people to shine. You must keep going after they clap. You stop at the applause, and the work is half done. Make things nobody sees for a few years. That part of you doesn’t get built anywhere else.
SATURN IN VIRGO
You think I'm making you tired. I'm crafting you. I'll give you the kind of mastery that takes twenty-five years and can't be bought, and you keep spending the hours on other people's emergencies instead. Every day, name the one thing that's actually yours and do that first, before the texts start coming in. And take care of your body like it's the tool, because it is, and you've been treating it like the price of admission. Fixing them is easier than sitting with your own unfinished thing. It’s because with other people. You know you're doing it right.
SATURN IN LIBRA
Btw, I love it here. However, you think I'm the reason nobody stays. I'm the standard. I've been sitting in you your whole life, and you've never once picked it up. You've been over there trying to be good enough for people who should've been auditioning for you. Newsflash: You decide what you want before you walk in the room, not after you see what's available. And then when someone doesn't meet it, you don't fix it, and you don't shrink yourself. You just don't pick them. You will lose some people because they were counting on you being easy.
SATURN IN SCORPIO
You think I took everything from you. I did take a little, lol. What I was doing was showing you what was never yours, because half of what's in your body belongs to somebody in that house who doesn’t have the capacity, and you've been thinking it's your personality. Go through it and separate it. Their shame, their fear, the thing nobody talks about. Give it back. It's slow, and you'll hit layers you didn't know were down there. And please stop bracing for impact. You've been keeping one hand off everything so you can't lose it, and that's not protecting you; it’s making your life smaller.
SATURN IN SAGITTARIUS
You think I took your faith. I took the fake one. You were never going to build your own while somebody else's was still working, and yours is the only one that'll hold when something bad happens. Pick one thing you say you believe and live by it for a year without looking for a better one. Doubt is going to show up. It's not evidence you chose wrong. You've found the framework four times now. Eight months of relief and then you're out looking again. Nobody can hold you to anything while you're still searching. You think you are staying open, but you're not.
SATURN IN CAPRICORN
You think I made you carry it all. No, I made you able to. This is my house; you're getting all of me with nothing in between, and I took your childhood to do it, and I'm not going to sit here and tell you that was fair. You must put something down on purpose and let somebody else do it worse than you would. Take one real day off a week. Let people see the parts of you that aren't finished yet. You'd rather be needed than known. Needed is a job you can work until you're sixty without anybody ever knowing who you are.
SATURN IN AQUARIUS
You think I made you weird. I made you unmistakable. This is my other house, and I kept you out on purpose, because you can't belong to people without disappearing into them until you know exactly who you are alone. That part's done. You know now. Pick a group of people and stay past the point where you'd normally find a reason to leave. Stay through the boring part. Stay when you're not needed. You leave before they can. Oh, I forgot, “you’re independent.” You'd rather pretend to not need anyone or anything than find out you weren't picked.
SATURN IN PISCES
I know you like to “go with the flow.” You think structure would kill what you are. Structure is the only thing that lets you come back. You go out further than most people can, and you've never had anything to return to, and that's why you're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. Put deadlines on things. When you start, when you stop, when you're reachable and when you're gone. Hold your boundaries when nobody's making you. You don't finish things because finishing means you have to take it seriously. What you don’t know is that taking things seriously is the key to your freedom.
You've been taking the waiting personally. Somebody got the money at twenty-four and went through all of it. Somebody got the relationship at twenty-six and messed it up. You watched both of those happen, and you still went to bed thinking you were the one who got skipped. Everything in your life that's made sense, I'm the reason it did. Nothing I told you is a technique. It's the shape of your whole life, and you'll still be working on it at seventy. People don't quit me at the start. They quit in the boring middle, when there's nothing to show yet, and everybody's asking what they're doing with themselves. The boring middle is where I'm building you.
I’m teaching a workshop on this. WHAT IT COST YOU.
